Master Digital Marketing curriculum

Constant technology advancements, such as the artificial intelligence and constantly new digital tools, present online marketers and digital marketing managers with new challenges and opportunities of reaching their audience and understanding and analyzing customer data. The Digital Marketing degree program at ISM meets all requirements of a future-oriented marketing education. You will acquire targeted expertise in areas such as digital marketing strategy, content and cross-media marketing, as well as marketing analytics and search engine optimization (SEO) for generative content.?

You will study the first two semesters at our new, modern campus in Berlin, before spending the?third semester?at one of our?partner universities abroad. You will then write your practice-oriented Master's thesis in the fourth semester. This means that you will receive your degree with 120 ECTS in the fourth semester.

Gain international digital marketing experience

During the Masters of Digital Marketing you will spend an?integrated semester abroad in the third semester at one of our partner universities from our extensive partner network?(PDF). During your stay abroad,?you will have the opportunity to deepen your?online marketing knowledge?and learn valuable?intercultural aspects?of marketing, while at the same time applying your?foreign language skills. Your classes abroad will be?100% credited, so you won't lose any ECTS and time.

Additional options during your studies are:

  • Fast Track: If you wish to shorten your studies to only 3 semesters, you can select the Fast Track option, in which you graduate with only 90 ECTS and skip the semester abroad. See more below.
  • Double Degree: If you would like to receive a Double Degree, we offer this option in collaboration with several partner institutions. Read more about it here.
